We are thrilled to announce that the team at Auckland Museum will be hosting us for a tour on Tuesday, 18 October, from 5 - 7 pm.  

We are asking people to arrive at 4.45 pm and meet up in the foyer of the South Entrance so that we can go straight into the tour at 5 pm.

The critical point is that the tour has to be limited to 24 people, so we will initially limit the invitation to SCANZ members only. However, if we do not fill it by 10 October, we will extend the invitation to others. 

TOUR DETAILS:

We will split into two groups, each visiting the Conservation Lab (FTIR, surface coatings, microscopic equipment, etc.) and the Exhibition Preparation Area.

We will then meet up to network with the museum team while enjoying some nibbles and drinks.

The museum will be open until 8.30 pm so you can stay afterwards to check out the exhibitions.
