From 1982 to 1989 Peter was on the committee of OCCA, now SCANZ, serving as Secretary from 1986 to 1988 during the period that OCCA NZ became independent from OCCA UK. Because of his interest in history, in particular, the History of Paint, he has taken on the role of archivist and historian for SCANZ.
