Next Generation Cobalt-free driers: Health goes High-tech

Cobalt and certain Cobalt compounds have been determined to be possibly carcinogenic to humans, and therefore are becoming reclassified under CMR Cat.1B. Due to these EU-legislations, allnex is launching new fully Cobalt-free Driers for solvent-borne and water-based oxidative drying paint systems. These ‘next-generation’ Driers are highly efficient for set & through drying of alkyd paints used both in decorative and industrial applications. Deployed in modern air-drying formulations, they fully comply with regulations, are free of hazardous labelling and low on VOC.
